Mark Kantrowitz, a leading source of unbiased information on 529 plans, has brought Mark Kantrowitz on board to advise on product and service offerings for consumers and financial advisors. Mark brings over two decades of college planning industry experience, and has served as publisher of, Edvisors, Fastweb and FinAid. He is currently president of Cerebly, Inc. a consulting firm focused on computer science, artificial intelligence and statistical and policy analysis.

In his new role, Mark will further’s mission to help families and financial advisors meet the challenges of saving and paying for education, by developing enhanced analytics to expand the firm’s current offerings. This will include utilizing his financial aid expertise to create new tools and content, and developing exclusive analytics and 529 plan investment strategies that can help families save more for their children’s education.
