Golda Mae Escalante, General Manager, was honored with the award by Hilton at the brand’s “Bringing It” Leadership Conference. The General Manager of the Year Merit Award, which is only presented to the top nine of the 238 Embassy Suites by Hilton properties worldwide, recognizes Escalante’s outstanding achievements during the past year.

Escalante is a highly experienced and motivated professional with almost 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry. She is the Board of Directors Secretary of Visit Lompoc LLC (dba Explore Lompoc), the official Tourism Business Improvement District (TBID) for the City of Lompoc, California. She also serves on the Board of Trustees for the Leadership Lompoc Valley. Escalante has received numerous awards and recognition over the years, including Excellence in Hospitality Service Awards. In May 2017, City of Lompoc honored the Embassy Suites by Hilton Lompoc with the Economic Vitality Award for making a significant economic impact and fostering economic vitality.
